Let’s clean up the community! 🧹 We’ll be spending the day out at Glen Meadows helping to tidy up the neighborhood, make it safer for families, and support residents with small but meaningful improvements. 🔨 Goals: • Improve the look and feel of the trailer park 🏘️ • Make the space safer and more inviting for kids and families 👨👩👧👦 • Support residents with simple exterior fixes 💪 💼 Tasks: • Add “Children at Play” signs 🚸 • Pick up trash and debris 🗑️ • Rake, possibly add mulch or flowers 🌼 • Help with light exterior cleanup or repairs 👟 What to Know: • Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty • There are a lot of stray cats if you're allergic, this might not be the best serve opportunity 🐱 • Come ready to work, serve, and love on the neighborhood ❤️ Let’s paint the town red and make Glen Meadows feel seen and supported!
This project aims to brighten the mornings of DC commuters at the VRE Leeland train station by offering free grab-and-go breakfasts. Volunteers will distribute donuts, fruit, and various beverages (energy drinks, juice, water) along with warm smiles to create positive connections and spread encouragement to early risers. The initiative emphasizes that even small gestures can significantly impact someone's day.
We’re planning a fun outing to Carriage Hill Health and Rehab Center, where we’ll spend some quality time with the wonderful residents. We’ll get creative and participate in a fun botanical craft activity, and then we’ll enjoy a tasty snack together. It’s going to be a day filled with laughter, joy, and memories to last a lifetime. Can’t wait to see you there!
For our project, we will be partnering with our community partner, Zoe Freedom Center. We will be painting the porch, building a chicken coop run, staining a barn and fence and replacing a split rail fence at the property of Zoe’s new Residential Center. For those struggling with addiction, the residential center will provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking to break free from addiction and rebuild their lives.

It is our mission to do God's work by blessing a fellow Christian who is an animal lover with MS and selflessly provides and cares for, stray and feral cats with food and shelter. From her own pocket and through donations, she is in need of assistance with some yard clean up, yard clean up, debris removal, and filling her pantry.
Packing incentive bags for PIT (Point In Time) Count. The PIT Count is a survey for unsheltered homeless to gather important information to service providers. They provide resource information for the unsheltered. The information helps funding and providing the correct service. We will meet at the library to pack the bags.
