Calling all YOUTH!! Are you in middle school or high school and want to serve with people your age?! This project is for you! While your parents serve at the blood drive or donate blood at the Fred Campus, join us there and pack 100 bags for Zoe Freedom Center to use when they outreach unsheltered individuals. We will also help pack their Narcan bags that they distribute to the community to help provide life-saving medication to the community in their Mobile Harm Reduction Van! We will also have pizza!
Our project will consist of building a handicap ramp in conjunction with our community partner, 516 Project, for a former Lifepoint couple that served our church faithfully for many years before moving closer to family This ramp that we will construct will allow access, freedom and improve quality of life for the residents. Day #2 will consist of building the ramp in place including the decking and railing. 516 Project will be supplying the building materials and tools. Lifepoint will supply snacks, drinks, and lunch. If you have a cordless power drill, please bring it with you. This service project is suitable for children 14 and older. However, children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
This Paint The Town Red project is focused on serving our community’s early risers with complimentary grab-and-go breakfasts and beverages at the VRE Leeland train station. Volunteers will hand out grab and go breakfast items like granola bars and fruit, beverages such as energy drinks, juice, and water, and warm smiles to morning DC commuters, creating a moment of connection and encouragement during their busy routines. The goal is to spread positivity, meet people where they are, and show that even small acts of service can make a big impact on someone’s day.
Join us as we are spreading the love of Jesus and encouragement to commuters at Virginia Railway Express (VRE) stations. Our teams will be handing out blessing bags to our commuters. We will offer prayer and pour love into others. This project aims to brighten their days, foster connection, and remind people that they are seen and loved, —both practically and spiritually. Please include your cell # ours is 703-217-3968

The mission of Paint and Praise is to honor our seniors by ensuring they feel deeply respected, loved, and seen. Our core goal is to share the love of Jesus through intentional companionship and creative engagement.
