You’re invited to donate gently used winter clothing for both kiddos and adults. Please drop off items in the Fred campus foyer. At the end of the collection period, we’ll deliver the donations to one of our community partners for distribution. ***Kindly ensure all clothing is clean before donating. **Signup if you plan to donate as it will help us determine storage.
Help us share the love of God in a simple and heartfelt way. We’ll be handing out gift bags to commuters as they get out of the train, offering kindness, encouragement, and the chance for prayer if someone needs it. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please include your email or phone number if comfortable, so we can send you updates. We’ll meet behind the Train Station , right by the entrance next to the train platform, behind the Alpine Chef Restaurant.
Let’s spread some cheer to the memory care unit at Fredericksburg Health & Rehab! We will meet in the parking lot for prayer and rally before we head inside. I’ll have songbooks prepared for our caroling, we will assist the residents in decorating a wooden ornament, and serve root beer floats!
Join me in serving the unhoused community in downtown Fredericksburg with love, compassion, and dignity. This outreach is about more than meeting physical needs—it’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus. Through simple but powerful acts of service like offering food, clothing, hygiene care, haircuts, prayer, and heartfelt encouragement, we’ll remind each person they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. Together, we’ll create a welcoming space where hope is restored, dignity is honored, and love is freely given—one person at a time.
1.) We will be creating a memorial garden at GVES to forever honor a beloved student they recently lost. This project will transform a section of the playground into a serene and living tribute. Our goal is to create a dedicated space for reflection and remembrance where students and the school community can visit to remember, celebrate, and feel connected. Project will include clearing leaves, prepping the ground, planting Hydrangeas, and mulching the area. 2.) If we have extra time & manpower, we will refresh (paint) a United States map that is currently painted on the blacktop playground at the school.
Join us as we are spreading the love of Jesus and encouragement to commuters at Virginia Railway Express (VRE) stations. Our teams will be handing out blessing bags to our commuters. We will offer prayer and pour love into others. This project aims to brighten their days, foster connection, and remind people that they are seen and loved, —both practically and spiritually.
