We would love for you to join us in serving the Mayfield community! Come be part of a fun, faith-filled day as we love on a community that could truly use encouragement and hope. This event will be like a block party combined with outreach ministry and evangelism—a day filled with joy, fellowship, and opportunities to share the love of Jesus. There will be something for everyone, including indoor and outdoor games, food and drinks, a raffle, crafts, music, gift bags, Bibles, a showing of The David Movie, a Bible study or faith-filled message, and possibly even face painting, cotton candy, and more! Throughout the day, we’ll intentionally pour into both the adults and children in the community. We’ll share meals together, build genuine relationships, laugh together, listen to their stories, share our testimonies, present the Gospel, encourage them through life-giving conversations, point them towards local churches, and create a fun, welcoming environment that points people to Jesus. The event will take place under the shaded pavilion at the park, with games and activities set up all around the pavilion. We’ll also have a door-to-door outreach team for those who feel called to go beyond the park. This team will bring gift bags, Bibles, and treats to homes where God leads us, inviting families to join us at the park while offering prayer and encouragement at their doorstep. It’s our opportunity to live out the heart of Jesus—leaving the ninety-nine to go after the one. There are so many ways you can serve! We need volunteers for: * Event setup and cleanup * Food and drink distribution * Entertaining and investing in children * Building relationships through conversation and encouragement * Door-to-door outreach * Praying with and for others * Helping with games and activities * Creating a joyful, welcoming atmosphere * And much more! Teens and children are also welcome to serve alongside us! Stay as long as you’d like! We currently hold a monthly Adopt-a-Block outreach in this community, and we’re praying that this PTTR event will spark even greater opportunities for ongoing ministry, stronger relationships, and lasting Kingdom impact in Mayfield. Come serve with us as we share the hope of Jesus, love our neighbors, and make an eternal difference—one conversation, one prayer, and one life at a time. Matthew 5:15-16 No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
Our project will consist of building a handicap ramp in conjunction with our community partner, 516 Project, for a former Lifepoint couple that served our church faithfully for many years before moving closer to family This ramp that we will construct will allow access, freedom and improve quality of life for the residents. Day #1 will consist of setting the footers and building the ramp base structure and support framing. 516 Project will be supplying the building materials and tools. Lifepoint will supply snacks, drinks, and lunch. If you have a cordless power drill, please bring it with you. This service project is suitable for children 14 and older. However, children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
Come serve the residents at Heritage Park apartments during the 2026 Community Picnic. Meet, mingle, play, and spread the gospel with your neighbors. This project aims to share the love of Jesus to everyone. There will be stations for: food, games, and crafts. This is a call for welcoming hearts, friendly faces, social butterflies, and shy caterpillars who want to come out of their cocoon. We want to engage with people of all ages by spending *intentional* time with them. This is an outdoor event. There are no restrooms on the premises. Nearby shops are available by car for restroom access. Be sure to have correct and updated contact information on this Serve app before signing up for this project. You will be contacted ahead of the event to determine your availability and desired placement within the project.
